It's illegal. It's cheated/hacked into the game. MS/DA "forgot" to make the weapon to be sold anywhere. Ditch it before a server admin hears about your "gift" and bans you.

there are some servers where the paralyser launcher is enabled check this first in the server rules/info
otherwise as the man says GET RID OF IT PDQ

On any unmodded server even with the patch and Lancerguard, it is allowed to have the lvl 10 Paralyzer missles. It is NOT allowed (the server should kick you) to own the lvl 10 Paralyzer launcher. Obviously missles are useless, except to sell and make money off of, without the matching launcher.

There are lots of items that were coded for the game, but left out. You can also add the class 10 graviton and molecular shields as well (graviton has a shield strength of over 11,000). Some hosts will make these items droppable from enemies, so no mod is required to get it. Others will just hand them or sell them to you. For myself, I sell them for around 300,000 creds on the launcher alone, as the ammo is quite expensive and you'll need every cred to buy a full 50 or so.

Some call it cheating to have it in the game. I say, if the game says it's legal, so do I. I try to offer the launcher to anyone who's got the cash to afford it, but eventually I'll make it a loot drop in the omicron systems. once I learn how anyway.

i play on GA and was told it was illeagal so i thought here was the right place to ask....now the paralyzer is gone ah well

Umm...Isn't the Paralyzer Missile acquirable by salvaging it from a wreck? Wouldn't that make it legal?

The missile is, the launcher is not.

Therefore, the missile is legal, the launcher is not.

Any mods, though, may make the statement irrelevant.

Can someone tell me why the Paralyzer missle is illegal/ I mean its not a cheat or mod weapon, its built in to the game.
