OK. Here is the situation. I play ona friends server and I had to format my harddrive. Since I had to format I have no characters on my logon screen. I try to add a character, which is the same I have been playing with , Faeleth, but it says choose another because this player already exists on the server. How do I get my character to load? I have the .fl for her.

It is because your mp account id has been erased. Also - the save game is on the server - not your comp. The admin of the server can deal with this problem for you better than anyone here - they can erase the character allowing you to make a new one with the same name and other things. How much they can do is best answered by an admin!!

Yes, and once again the message is remember to write down your mp id# with a real pen and paper (I wrote mine inside my instruction manual).
It comes in handy for just this situation.
