what are the Minimun Specs for a Dedicated server

I've got an old P3 450 mHz standing aroud somewhere doing nothing. Bu before I hook it up again: will it be able to run FLServer? Because if so, it would be quite usefull for me and my friends

Straight from the manual

Minimum Configuration
• Windows® XP, Windows Me®, Windows 2000®, or Windows 98 SE®
o (Windows NT® and Windows 95® are not supported)
• 600 MHz processor
• 128 MB RAM
• 4x CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive
• 1.3 GB free hard disk space plus space for saved games (additional space required for Windows swap-file and DirectX 9 installation)
• 16 MB video card with DirectX 9 compatible driver.
• DirectX 9 compatible sound card

Time is too short to hate everybody , just hate a few

TBH, I've tried running FLServer on a PII-400 with 256Mb of SDRam @ 100 MHz on a socket 7 mobo, with 4.5 Gb of HDD, 8Mb AGP 1.0 ATI card, running Win2k....connected to an ADSL line.

And it ran OK for a small server hosting 5 players no noticable lag at all!

FL will install fine, although it does warn you of low system specs.

So, give it a go and see. You don't loose anything (except time).
