Hi

Okay I have finished the single player game and have been playing a bit of multiplayer...but what I really want to do is run my own multiplayer game.

So no problem I run the flserver and set it all up....what my question is is this....I see all kinds of mods and stuff that admin's can alter...like starting cash, starting planet, starting ship etc...etc....how do I do that...I admit I am very new to this and have never tried it before so I really need almost a step by step instruction on how to really admin a game....if anyone knows a good website with detailed instructions or anything please post here.

I appreciate any help that anyone can give....thank you in advance

try the modding forum here , most startup changes are done through the file mpnewplayer.fl , just replace the variables with values eg. %%money%% with any amount you see fit

I can help u because have been playin for about 4 months and just started my own server three weeks ago. If u decide to do that there is serveral things u will need to no to make a server that people want to play on. I think u sould play on others for a couple of months to see what is going on in FLspace. that way u no how to make a good server for people to pay on. Plus u will learn about mods and what people do with and what u would like to do with. Anyway back to questin, you need to go to front page of lancersreactor where lates mods show. Then on left side hit downloads and u will see all of them by name. fine the one that says Irocross Freelancer character editer mkIV load and u can do all that u asked about in mp. Just set up server and then go to editer and set c: file list to open mp accouts then just keep them updated on the generated list every day to have files in editer. When u mod with editer they can not be on server for about 2 minutes to get it to set mods. You can get from www.Irocross.com also and it will explain alot.
