That's nothing. try getting on a server that hosts race contests, from one end of Sirius to the other, say, from planet honshu to manhattan, then to cambridge, then back to honshu through the Tau systems in a ship that can get blown up by those pesky outcasts and lane hackers.

I've been to this server before but I can't find it now.
But they're racing there I think from Bretonia then through to the Kusari systems.
I didn't join but I think its lots of fun.
The players need to initially dock at I think Cambridge first, then when its go! go! go! they start the race. Then after the first jump gate you can then shoot each other so to put the enemy player back to the last station she/he docks.
I think it was fun but when I went back again to join, I can't find the server anymore, and I can't remember the full sit name, I think it was like... Sydney <something> 001 or 11.. i think but not sure.
Hope someone can point me to a server with racing.

I did that once and sometimes a rich guy that holds the race gives out money if you win, only hundred thou though

once on a cogs gamearena server a guy gave 10 million to the winner of a race in starfliers.....1st person to visit every system (including unknowns) and get back to manhattan wins.....the guy who won came with a stripped ship.....no bots/batts, his wings blown off and his weapons blown off and he only died 17 times!

hahaha =) ,that was somthin', but how did they know that he visited all the systems? did they have some kind of mod to know this. hmmnnn... maybe some of the modders here could make something like that to determine if you have gone to the waypoints required to win the race. =)
where can i find this racers' server? i sure would like to try. =)
