i saw a thread about it on the server forum but it wasnt hugely enlightening

all my accounts have a combined worth of about 40 million on there. i hope he doesnt wipe the hard drive.

Some news about calgary.
I wouldn't go holding your breath.......i saw damon (prototype01)on my MSN for the first time in two months the day before yesterday. He owns the server, and to put it mildly, where we used to get on really well, He ignored me completely, even though i just asked what happened to calgary........
So, suffice to say i think that is proof that calgary is gone. For that reason i have also removed him from my MSN list, so i don't have his email anymore either - simple reason being he has had enough of FL obviuosly - so I aint bugging the guy from his real life over a server he ran.
It was a good place, mine and many others favourite....

Heh, you're talking aobut 40 million, I'v lost my 4 account with each over 200 million. My Entropy account had almost 500 million. But what is cash in FL anyway? It only increases your level. Not your skill. I'm as good with 2 million as i am with 200 million. I'll get over it. Very soon I think. The only high cost weapon I use is the Sunslayer torpedo launcher. No big deal....i think

I think the server is gone forever. Lifespan of a game server usually does not last long anyway. Calgary was started when Freelancer was still new and it lasted more than four months. I think four months is a pretty decent lifespan for a server. Freelancer is no longer new. Let's hope DA comes up with a sequel for this game.
