STARTING A NEW CLAN...or something like that...

Hey everyone...

First and foremost let me say that I have played FL for some time and truly enjoy the free play style that it allows. I have played it offline for some time and just recently got back into playing after some time off...

I'm kinda new to the Freelancer online world, so this thread may be something that is just blown off, but if there's anyone that wants to help me out that would be great...

I have played online games before and found that they are really only enjoyable (at least for me) when you play in groups. Games like Dark Age of Camelot and Nercron were only fun when I had my buddies with me. So I ask of all interested: Is there anyone that wants to start a clan with me? I don't have much of an internet connection right now but am hoping to get my hands on high speed here in the near future...

If there's anyone that would like to start one for the first time, or is bored with the one that they are in, please let me know...if nothing else, please just let me know that clans normally don't happen or whatever the case may be for FL online. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from some people soon

Also keep in mind that I'm trying to find a mix of players. I don't want a clan that is restricted only to those players who are gods amongst the FL players...I would like a clan that is open to all and seeks to help each other become better at the game.

Well.... i already have my own multigaming clan. And it sometimes can get to be hard work to be leader of a major clan. We aint that big yet. But i hope we will be soon. But a tip is, get a forum, and website. And if you wanna join mine just email me at [email protected]

hi! i'm doing a clan too... my server is **UK Server** altough it seems offline at the moment... but anyway when it will return, try it! it's very funny, much people, good players, and usually low lag.

my player's name is Briareos_-=(WM)=- and i already did a small clan, with another guy. i will help you in the beginning, and i'm very happy to recruit players that are enthusiastic about group playing.

Start your clan on a public server that has many players. make it somewhat big then move it to a nice RP server. i suggest [Excelcia Role Playing Server. Great bunch of people and good clans on there also. and its ALL RP. Only thing is that you have to download a mod to enter the server. www.excelcia.org go there and get the mod version 1.1c If you come there, i would like to check out your clan and mabye make a nice alliance.

For those that might be interested. I consider myself an OK pilot. Nothing special. No killing an entire Rhineland Battle Fleet by myself. Hahaha...

I really would like to get into a clan that is close knit, tight friends, good times, and lots of comraderie...I can't stand it when you have a clan that has two or three lone wolves that only look out for themselves and aren't trying to help their friends. Those really suck. I guess for now I can jump into a clan and see what it's like. Not really sure how to get started to be honest...would love to follow some leaders around and learn how it's done, then maybe I can start my own and we can feed off each other's groups. Any takers???
