Cannot See Any Servers Online

Hi,

I have loaded Freelance and its Server v1.1 update. When I run Freelancer I see v1.0 and then I goto Multiplayer and pick Internet. I see no Freelancer servers available. Do I have a patch missing? Or, are there no server up right now?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check you freelancer.ini file. It's in x:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE where x: is the drive you have Freelancer installed on. There should be a line in there labeled Port=xxxx where xxxx is a 4 digit number. Make sure this is 2300. I tried putting it on 2303 and got the same problem. Changing it back listed a whole boat-load of servers. And as always, make sure Freelancer isn't running when editing the INI file.

Still not seeing any servers.

Here are the settings I am using in Freelancer.ini:

[ListServer
;;;hostname = localhost ;Your local machine
;;;hostname = FLListServer2.dns.corp.microsoft.com ;GUN server in Austin
;;;hostname = 131.107.135.190 ;GUN server in Redmond
hostname = fllistserver.zone.msn.com ;GUN server in Redmond (DNS entry)

port = 2300

I hope something else is wrong.

When I tried using dial-up I saw all the servers so what is happening is some port on the DSL modem or router is being blocked that should not be. I already have UDP ports 2300 to 2400 forwarded to my PC.

Does anyone have a full list of ports that need to be forwarded for this game?

Is the global server down then?? Is it down still? As i too see no servers listed, although i can do IP connect to a couple of them......(by entering the IP in the directIP)
Anyone know anything bout this at all?!

I was on-line last night with a 56k line, it was pretty quiet though, and the pings were higher than usual but the global server was working.
