Anti invulnerable shield mod exist, but what about an anti-i

Was good to see the Anti-Invulnerable Shield mod posted in here earlier, but can anybody make an Anti-Invulnerable Hull mod as well ?

I know it's fighting fire with fire, using such mods to combat the mods used by cheaters, but when one is on a server where it takes some time for the admin to take action, its the lesser of two evils IMHO.

Fighting modders with mods doesn't help the admin. It encourages modding and gives the server a bad rep as having a modding problem. Plus while you are fighting the modder, you are both lagging the server, which causes everyone to wait until you are done modding so they can play again.

I think it would be cool if they had a mod that could blow up players while they are still docked on a station or planet. That would be a really cool thing to do to people. If you could make a mod that makes them blow up right after they spend there money on cargo, that would be great. If you just shoot the docking ring then everyone in the planet dies and loses any cargo they had.

How would blowing up a docking ring kill people on the planet?

It was a joke. I was being sarcastic. Sorry I wasn't more clear about that.
I am making fun of the cheaters that want to have an advantage over the defenseless. People docked on a planet are pretty defensless.

Thats what I wrote.. I know its fighting fire with fire.. Unless somebody could come up with a serverside mod that disables the ÜberHull. Don't know if LancerGuard works against the ÜberHull.

Sigh* Would it be possible for someone to write a third party program that, using FL data on a server, checks the server FL files VS the ini and utf files that the clients have, and if the client does not match, alerts the admin and sends the client three warnings before booting them?

such a device, (at least, if DA implements it in a patch) will eliminate cheaters for good. gone. kaput!

i mean seriously there MUST be a way to do this. There has to be. I have seen such third party programs that do the same thing for games like Half-Life so why can't we do it with Freelancer? We just need to customize the dedicated server tools a bit, I think...or at least write a frontend/controller program for them
