The New Argonia Station, No modding, cheating etc. etc. blah blah blah

umm there are cheaters on elite.granted they dont last long but they are there.

Elite does have it's cheaters. (EG, grr... You guys are getting spaced) But they don't last long.

every server seems to have these cheaters
best bet is a password protected one, as they have more control over who joins

A good one that used to be quiet and friendly was Geezers server - never met a modder on there - as it is small and people get on with playing the game rather than just sitting round and chatting! And when its a small server where to cause trouble the modders have to race everywhere - they soon get bored and leave - so it is just nicely modder free!!!
p.s - its very friendly on there - but i haven't been back for a month as it was a little too quiet for me!

Rats are in every food manufacturing plant. Cheaters are on every server on occasion. Some are better than others. The Geezer thing is actually a good idea for other servers. If Manhattan is a lonely place, then modders will stay away more often. Argonian Ryders are like Toads sitting on the station outside manhattan. There are so many people around Manhattan, that modders probably love to go there.

My server follows Elite rules and warns cheaters to stay away. Cheaters in this context are modders on an un-modded server.

If you are looking for a server that is completely mod free, there are many. Just read their descriptions.

If you are looking for a server that has no cheaters, that will never happen especially with the more popular servers. It really boils down to how active the sysadmin is in monitoring his server (with or without other peoples help). Elite is an excellent example of such a server.

I guess you could try out my server. I try to keep it mod free--except the mods I use. right now I set the server to start out as a liberty rogue. should also be a good challenge for you too.

Yup - that was a nice addition *dryly*.
Well - apart from Elite, Seattle and also The Elite (server #2 and the main server - which are run by the TE) which have very strict modders/cheaters ban policy - you could also try some of the roleplaying ones....these tend to be actively moderated by admin as well. Frostworks is a good one......and please - any people who just want to mod - don't even bother going there. If you want that kind of server (they are more challenging to be sure) then check them out at frostworks!
