because on the server there is a whole new system
for fighting against other people, the deathmatch system.
if you want you can check it out but first you have to download the mod
on efs.mainpage.net

and on the server all EFS members help out newbies on the net and on the server.

some more info would be nice

like maximum number of players , is it maintained (admin on duty) , how does it deal with cheaters etc etc

ok here is some more info,

64 players can be online
the admin is most of the time online
and the server gets rebooted every 24 hours
there is an anti cheat patch and a whole new player kill system

hows the lag with 64 players ?
ive never had much luck on any over about 40 players
though if the modders leave it alone it might be ok!
i`ll maybe have a look sometime

there usually arent more than about 10 players online
thats why im searching for new ones

but there is almost no lag with more players than 10
and if there is lag
the admin will give the server a kick

Hmm ok I give it a try (sigh yet another copy of freelancer to deal with yet another server mod I think i am up to 7 now because as usual one mod is not compatible with another mod)
