Boomtown #1 server.. To KOS or not to KOS...

Opinion sought.. Should I KOS this player or not ?

Arrived in Omicron Gamma, and went to dock at Crete. Outside Crete, two players from SiS.ger clan, BlueJay and TheMatrix hung around.. While in docking anim, I was shoot. No warning before shooting, during the approach.

Returned again, The Matrix demanded 10 mill cr to let me dock, as "Gamma is SiS territory...", I declined, and took the fight to them, 2 vs 1, and killed both twice without sutaining serious injury. BlueJay called a truce, and that was OK with me.

Another player, GilGamesh_Uruk arrived, and was jumped by the two SiS.Ger members, and I joined in the fray, helping him out. After a while, another truce was called. Another SiS member, Fluff arrived, in her neutral character, a player I have helped level up and shown the ropes, as I also have done with other SiS players, and was asked by the SiS.Ger leader TheMatrix, to jump in and help.. She said no to attack me, and was verbally abused by the Clan leader (IMHO).

At that time I was docked, and called out an offer to let TheMatrix show he could do the walk, and not just talk the talk.. When I left crete, I was promptly killed by TheMatrix.. Dockcamping...
I offered him a Duel.. Him and me 1 v 1, following rules: 3 K s2peration, hold, and on word GO fight was on. Reward 5 Mill cr from loser to winner.
He said OK.. I killed him fair and square during the duel, and then he refused to pay up.. Even though his own clanmembers was there, and Fluff from his clan was appointed the referee...
I called him honourless, and said that it was amazing that a clan leader wouldn't keep his word, especially while his team mates was present, and could follow the whole affair...
I mean.. Even among pirates (and yes I'm a pirate on the Boomtown server), there should be honour.

At that time I was on the way to the Theta jumphole, in order to help Fluff's neutral character trasnfer weaps and credits to her SiS character, when TheMatrix followed me and shot out my shields.. I turned, and killled him again, whereupon he declared me his biggest enemy.. ;-)

and then promptly logged off the server.. (to sulk perhaps..).
It's not the money.. heck, got 48 mill, and would probalbly have much more, if I hadn't helped people, including SiS members, during the time I've flown on the Boomtown #1 server.. It's the principle...

So what say you all.. Should I KOS him, until he pays the 5 mill I fair and square deserve ?

too right same thing happened to me on **uk sever** iwas out side a space dock trading credits with a partner to chg ship for mission when we were approached by acoupl of hi lvl clanheds who burned us 6 or 7 times for not replying quick enough to them. just a bit difficult to do whn your in privte chat nd th kybord iss plying up.if you`ve got the ship and the bfg`s loaded up kos him every time you spot him.put a bounty on him nd lt veryone know why .maybe he`ll get a sense of humour but then mybe not as he`es german.

well, first of all the ref needs to be a nutral party. both give them the credits b4 u fight, and then let the ref pay ( be sure u can trust em) otherwise never make a deal with ppl on "honor" cos in this day and time there isn't any to be found if not rare.

I say go for it. if the other SiS members u helped has a prob with it, tell em to quit SiS or join u or the so-called leader.

helping ppl is good, and encouraged but if they turn on u, then ahhh hell for em.

im fluffy or also knows as PoPKoRn.

matrix is a cocksucker for not losing with hourner. maybe next ttime he shudnbt try and attack lvl 63 ppl.

I was there when it happened, and Ducth 63 is rigth. That Matrix is a looser guy that dont seem too honor. I ve heard that 2 of his clan m8s had left... LOL he deserve that¡¡¡
Whatever these are not the only bull**** in Boomtown server, yesterday nigth i was out of Freeport 10 and suddenly two guys called "Dt" and "Cozzy" come to my friend Jambo and me and started to shooting us without a word, they killed jambo when he was doking...
Then i call Ducth 63 and tell him that "here is a pair of dockcampers", he come to us and help¡¡ (Thanx Ducth youre a nice guy)

Guys, you have to see how fast they run out when they saw Ducth63 coming into the system¡¡ LOL it was very funny... They docked in planet malta(i think) and "Dt" started to moain on ducth(lol) Hehe, then he logoff as a coward, hehe...
The other one run out of the system and then log off the server too...

Im 32 level ... and just like to flyaround, trade, and take money. I dont attack any ship without a previous attack...Thanx Dutch again¡¡¡

Well what can I tell in my poor English …
Duch63 have reason and is correct his explain, but personally I think that is necessary same enemies players
to do training Fighting with players …
Missions level 43 are very easy and I get only money and level and level for me mean nothing ,
combat with good players is more difficult than missions, players is not a programmatically routine,
players have ability … experience … intelligence and this are very good quality
when I need test me capacity in fighting duel or not.
Then if I have same enemies in Freelancer is ok … Red Hessians are enemies too and they never ask me
for duel … they only attack … same players are like Red Hessians.
Personally if the [SIS.GER.Hessians clan attack me … I’m happy … I want try Ships, missiles, mine, weapons with them.
The Universe in Freelancer Space is hostile.

Well i think if you want to test your weapons and that stuff, you can alway go to someone and ask for a duel... but if im on the space and see you coming i wont shoot you anyway...i will let you go for sure... im not a hostile ship.

But if you come to me and shoot me without asking, i will be really angry about that. Yep the redhessians dont ask any and start to shoot, youre rigthon that, but you can see them in your navigator "red" as an enemy, and from 2k you know they are going to shoot you. With real players you always see them as Neutral, they can come close to you without shooting, and then start to shoot on your back¡¡Like a traitor.

Yesterday nigth i found another 2 nasty guys that started to shoot my friend jambo, then i went to help him, and they were 2vs 1, when i arrived we shoot them donw. After that we follow on our own, doing our things, but they look for us in another system and we they were arriving we go to dock to a planet bc we didnt want to fitgh, then when we were docking the shoot us down....
These guys are "STARMAN, and ZAPP_(whatever)". They werent fair, and i told then some nasty things before login off the server.
