Move down, I went through the same thing for a while. The eagle with the DiamondBacks was too much sometimes... I'd blow up the loot on wrecks if I didn't turn off the big guns first. So, I went down to a Banshee and never looked back. I've started getting some of the lower end ships that I missed during the missions. So far, my favorites are the Banshee and the Hawk. I'm in a Valkyrie right now. If too much cash is a problem... do the New Tokyo to Solarius diamond run a couple times
