Reps and MP

What happens with reps when playing as a group in MP? Does everyone in the group acquire the rep of the person who started the group?

I'm just wondering what happens when one member of the group is friendly with a faction and another is hostile.

No, everyone keeps their own reputations while grouped.

Ouch. That makes it complicated; one member of the group may be attracting pirates, while others may be friendly. Pity you can't sell reps to each other! For that matter, one great feature would be the ability to trade map info or neural net data.
