Any Ideas...............

How to recover my saved game on level 38 with lots o cash, i just formatted but copy n pasted original game off c: - d: formatted c: reinstalled game copy n pasted relevent bits but still no joy. I started again on the server i had cash on but wont let me rejoin as original game due to it already being taken by me any ideas..... cus im screwin cheers

yeah when you installed the game in the first place.. you should have READ the texts TELLING you to write down the serial number for FURTHER installations.. that way you would be under the same account.. as it is now, sounds like you have another serial number and under a different account.. as far as getting it back, your screwed..

I as well disregarded that disclaimer... is there a place in my registry i can find it incase i have to ever reformat?

You probably can find that info in your registry, but why go to the trouble? Try this....

goto:

Start---->Programs---->Microsoft Games---->Freelancer---->Examine my account ID.

Problem solved:O)
