i got troubs running my server

i'm trying to get FLserver to run on my comp so i can play MP by myself (testing stuff out) but when i set up the server i can't see it in the multiplayer menu in freelancer.
when i alt + tab into flserver and go into console, it keeps coming up with
"Connecting to list server...
Failed to make connection to list server..."
over and over again..
anyone got ideas on the prob and how to fix it?

You are using a firewall ? I think that freelancer uses 2 ports (or even more) but I do not know what ports they are.

Maybe some1 can add the ports too, if the firewall is the problem for you.

alright, well this time i tried making a FLserver while connected to the internet - i'm still on a modem

the server doesn't come up under the LAN games section, but if i enable my server to be visible on the net then i can join via the internet games section.. bit stupid really.
