FLServer.exe question

I am having problems with flserver.exe . I host a server on the internet with a Intel2.4 / 512Mb RD-RAM / 7200RPM MaxtorHDD(8Mb) PC.

Now this configuratie must be enough to host 10 players on the internet. And indeed, EVERYTIME it runs for 30-45 minutes it hosts 10 players at 8-10msec with 45-50% CPU load. Now after 45 to 90 minutes, CPU load and msec starts to rise a bit every minute. Until the players are playing at 23msec / 90% CPU load. T

This is every time and not incidential. After I reset the PC and the SAME 10 players come back, the first 45 minutes my PC has totally no problems hosting them again and after 45-60 minutes it starts all over agian.

Is this a common problem with flserver.exe or must there be something wrong with my system? I am using the server on Windows2000 adv. server.

I thought, maybe my memory is faulty (the longer the game runs , the longer it takes to calculate all the calculations) and it looses time to retrieve bad sectors in memory, but even after installing other modules, the problem did not stop.

Any help is much appreciated. I start to think it's a flserver.exe problem now.

With kind regards,

It is a known FLServer issue. It's a memory leak.

It is supposedly fixed with the patch that is "Almost" ready.......It's been almost ready for a while...But thanks to the people playing on DA Patch and Elite servers...they keep finding things to fix.

I have a gig of ram, and when I get over 12-15 people, my computer, which the server is on, gets unusable in the game. I can move over to my backup computer, and it's fine. The server leak doesn't appear to bother clients as much as the server.

I am running an AMD XP 2000+ with a gig of PC2700 RAM...I can let my server run for days and not experience too much client lag....But I restart it (or try to) daily anyway....

Thanks for your quick reply. You do not want to know how much time i've spend in checking and changing my system

I really thought it had something to do with my PC.
