Its usually lag that causes this, but in rare cases it can be caused by some sort of glitch. It happens a lot on Elite at Detroit Shipping. Theres some glitch when docking that akes you swing out to the left and then back in, barely making it if you are in a humback. As of today (May 16) this has not been fixed.

Im not sure exactly where you are, but if your outside the door than you might be able to get out if someone crashes into you.

ive had that happen several times. at first it was rather funny but now its just annoying to me. even after i get a fresh coat of paint my ship runs into a pair of cargo bay doors and scratches all my hull paint.

Wen i was able to relog and me drom was in a regular position. So it worked, but it was kinda funny to watched, looked like I was parked out there.

I had something similar happen to me. Was flying around the Manhattan docking ring, trying to weave in and out of the yellow guide bars when I became attached to one of the exit gates clamps. Had a small group of people watching me as I would get pulled along the clamp as people took off from the planet. Eventually I was knocked loose with help from the on lookers. Must say it was one of my more interesting experiences so far.

I know how to get looose of that... Its quite easy.

You just try and face the doors. Select the station and dock with it. You will stand still or move a bit. The doors will then open and You just simply go free flight. Then simply fly out!
