What I always do in most multiplayer situations is get an OK ship (patriot, drake, or banshee will do fine) and take it to the omicron systems, do a few of those 200+k missions init, buy a sabre or eagle, and keep doing them. But, it's not exactly 'quick' the missions take about 20 mins to complete if it's like a 250k mission (because of the crap weapons that the light fighters can carry) but you should be able to complete them without losing your shields (once)... but, agian, that's in a manueverable light fighter. I don't reccomend flying a heavy bulky fighter, unless you got extremely nice shields and good arsenal.

tho I wouldn't suggest you try that on the elite server, you'll end up getting your ass kicked by someone in an eagle there

or if you're not a good enough pilot for that, or can't get to the omicrons without getting ate up by radiation or killed by other players, TRADE. LIKE MANY OTHERS. Or pirate, or find your own way of quick cash. But don't cheat, no-one likes cheaters.

those ships would get ate up in a 200k mission on freeport 9 even if you are really good.. your gonna need a heavy fighter- ace is trippin.. guess he's been dreamin about his patriot owning everything again lol =

I can do it in a banshee and drake, because light fighter's are very manueverable, heavy fighter's are slugs. You can avoid their shots in a highly manueverable ship, but in a heavy fighter you'd get rammed up the ass with lasers. Never tried it in a patriot... I guess I shouldn't have said "it can be done in a patriot" if I've never tried it , but it can be done in a drake or banshee. And also, I was not talking about freeport 9 missions, you can't even do zoner missions as far as I know, you can never get them friendly enough. I was doing missions for outcasts, those hammerhead's are **** with the A.I piloting. --now back to patriot owning everything -- I have gottan a patriot into the omicrons, never tried missions - yet. You just need to make sure you go thru the tau systems and are neut with everyone. Otherwise you'll get smoked before you leave kusari.

just so you know, GUTG, I just completed a mission in omicron beta with my patriot (I got pics and NEO Tasiin and NEO Blades watched me do the mission) so it is possible. It's just whether or not you're crazy enough to try it
