Can I load my SP save into a MP server

I have a Hammerhead with over 1mil in the SP game but every time I start a MP game I have to start again with that useless ship.
I notice as well that as soon as you launch in the Starflyer/Patriot you get about 10 bandits onto you!!

BTW If sell your shield separetely for about 1k you can get patriot immediately with just the starting 2k.

No you cant do that. You have to start over in MP.
