Is Elite Down Again???

Ok... Elite hasnt been showing up on my server list for a while, so I was wondering if it was down...

its down temporarily for a patch upgrade as far as i know.

Oh yeah... that would stink... Elites been down for almost a half hour now... shouldnt take that long to put it back up... lats time the patch came, it barely took 5 mins.

I am backing up all accounts, doing a quick clean up of the drives, and making sure all is ready before I apply the patch.

Shouldn't be more than another 15-20...

He thanks for replying akataka... Nice to see some response from the server admins. I was starting to get worried that something had gone wrong with our accounts or the server when you tried to apply the new patch.

hmm... strange, i can no longer connect to it using direct ip, and i've never been able to get through to the list server... i'll keep trying...

My fault - It was running on port 2302 rather than 992 as it should be.

Also, I'm trying out some new hardware - same accounts, same IP, just a different setup - doing some baseline testing.

*Please* let me know how the performance is with this build/this hardware. I'll most likely go back to the old hardware tomorrow (or tonight if perf is really bad) until the new system is completely ready.
