This TTA1........are they affiliated with NEO? My crew and I were attacked by a character known as [NEOTasiin without warning or provocation in the New Tokyo system while we were on our way to complete a mission. He snuck up behind us while we were emerging from a Trade Lane and blasted all 3 of us to bits. I lost 3 shields I was carrying and 2 lasers I had found and planned to mount. I'm just wondering if these guys are all with the same group and if this is happening to others around the sector. He said, "I just wanted to give you noobs a welcome rub!" or something to that effect. He talked as though he were looking for a fight and told me that this is how everyone in his group plays.

This is the first encounter anyone in our group has had with anyone even affiliated with another clan on this server. It would have been one thing if he'd announced his presence and intentions before opening fire, at the very least it would have been more considerate. I'll be watching this thread to see what turns up.

I just checked and I got it wrong, the clan is TTY1, and just so you all know, I talked to him, and he says the war is still on, but he attacked us as an act of RP, since he plays a bad guy, and I urge everyone here NOT to make permanent enemies with them, this turned out to be just a temporary thing, so take my first post as pure RP I guess.

NEO is at your service ^.~
TTY1, or whatever it was will be delt with swiftly.
Oh, and about that other person being killed...
I guess you could say that NEO plays the 'big' bad guys, hence it is our duty to rough people up a bit

Yeah that'd be me PHB, and no we're not with these idiots. NEO has already declared war on TTY1 for attacking RES.

And for today's latest update, after a rousing little chase around Kusari, we finally met up with them in Kepler. Before I even was out of the lane Tas had dealt with them.
They proceeded to run into Galileo, where I almost met them, but some Xenos decided the trade lane should be knocked out for me. They came out of the Colorado gate just as I got there, and proceeded to run even deeper Liberty Space.

Oh well, it was fun!

It has been settled. A big misunderstanding lead to all this, we have called a truce and urge NEO to follow suite, to anybody who was anticipating a big war, my apologies.

I suppose since you chose not to run back to the Planet to hound us everytime we tried to launch again means you're not as bad as TTY1. Although I certainly hope for your sake that you don't make a regular habit of such inconsiderate behaviour towards everyone one on ELITE as it will not endear you to other players and groups on the server. As well I also hope that your flippent remarks about your own group were not true and that you don't all normal behave in this manner towards the rest of the ELITE community as it could have similiar results.

However, if the incident between us in New Tokyo is in any way reticent of the kind of impression your group likes to have on other players in Sirius, I fear that your reputation will dwindle to that of TTY1 in relatively short order. The spectacle of your confrontations with OWL was bad enough for your reputation both on ELITE and here on the forums. As I said, I hope, for your sake and for the reputation of your group, that you and your friends will have a little more consideration for others in Sirius than you had for us last night. I don't hold grudges and I can understand how some folks can get a little overzealous and power-hungry in this game, especially once reaching a higher level, but if your reputation is damaged enough by these kinds of acts towards others over time, then just trying to exist in this system when everyone hates you will not be pleasant. I hope you'll think about that......

Are me and my group the only guys who actually LIKE NEO? I personally think theyre good guys, I got PKed by them one time, and never again, infact I've been friendly with them ever since.

Please tell me this "misunderstanding". I'm the one who was shot at and I want to know how they weasled out of this.

NEO is not going to leave them alone after a few choice words they sent in our direction.

As for you Phantom Brigade, I wasn't being flippant - this is what we are. We're already aware of the fact that we aren't exactly universally loved, and no, it doesn't bother us.

Greatlight said it was RP and he doesnt want to stay enemies, then he called Friday off. I offered to drop the whole issue if he apologized, and told him I would ask NEO to pull back, but I didnt think they would, as has just been proven.

Ah yes, and the only reason I didn't blow up is because I flew around in loops and circles, I hardly even shot at him...
