Intermittent Server Problems

I've been running a fl server for a group of frinds for about a month but it only intermittently appears on the net.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so and you fixed it....how?

I've getting them to connect using the: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -sxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx parameter but that doesn't seem to work either.

Hope someone can help.

Hummm are u behind a router? and or does your ISP assign you a static IP address or Dynamic? may be there.

I am not to net saavy but i have ran into those 2 probs. hope it helps

The box with the server on is connected directly to the net via a cable modem. The ip is mean to be dynamic but hasn't changed in 6 months. It runs on a 24 hr lease.
