thats the Unknown system (theres actually 2 of them), which are the only places to find nomad weapons (except near the jump hole to the lower one in Omicron Gamma, sometimes Nomads hang out there).

Yeah, It's the unknown sector. You can get there through omecron gamma (i also believe there is another unknown but i've never been there). In the unknown that i've been too it's just nomads and a couple planets you can dock on. But both of them you can't buy anything, and one of them you can't even do any repairs. It's a good place if you want to get nomad weps but that's it.
