That''s getting annoying...

I started a Char on three Servers untill now... every single one disappeared. And I did choose servers that seem stable and 24/7 on.
First that UK fightclub disappeared. Great, having spent 6 hours playing there. Next one was the DA Patch server. Can't seem to find that one anymore. And now the Swiss Freelancer server is not to find anymore. That's not funny anymore. Playing the same part 3 times again. And now starting a fourth char? For what purpose? To lose it once again?..
And there was much rejoicing.. yeeeeeh!

Yeah, one of the shortcomings of Freelancer is no ability to move characters from server to server freely. That would most likely bring on a whole new round of cheats so I can understand DA not wanting that ability to happen.

Hmm.. at least one server seems to be running again. But with much decreased player-capacity.

I wish Digital Anvil would model the MP after Dungeon Siege MP... you could take your characters into any server. They just need to find a way to limit cheating.

another thing DA couldve done is model it after BNet (Diablo 2 would be the best example), where you have a global account that holds you characters, then you chose a server and play. but one thing that should be left out is allowing users to create games (like BNet) because that would allow a tremendous amount of exploiting (create a game>loot all lvl 10 guns from wrecks>sell them for easy money>repeat)

Yes, Blizzard did it with closed Battle.net. Microsoft is too cheap to do it for DA's Freelancer though.

Which server seems to be the most populated and the most stable? I plan on getting on line tonight for the first time.
