Elite server?

I've heard a lot about this server in the last few hours whilst looking for somewhere to play online. It seemed to be the best-known and i thought therefore the most fun.

I see that its had problems and is now back up.

When i find it on the server list it is password locked. Is this just while people are testing that it is ok or is this an invite only server?

If so who would i talk to about being allowed to play there?

I found the password, check it out in the server forum under elite announcement.

I got in and I really look forward to using this server, but I can't at the moment. I tried one trade run (at level 1) and blew up with my cargo in the hold. All but a few hundred credits are gone. I'll have to delete that character and start over. After DA fixes this mess.

no.. the only server that's the legitimate "elite" server is spelled "Elite". There are tons of variants like "ELITE", "Elite's" and whatever.. but they arn't set up by the people at lancersreactor. Either Elite, or E2 (elite 2) are good stable servers when they get back.

I dont know it off hand. Both Elite and E2 are down right now. Dont know why, they were back up yesterday. I'll post the ip when i find out what it is, or maby the moderators would be kind enough to post it too

You're going to have to search for the password though. It's password protected, and I dont think the moderators would like if ppl just flooded the forums with Elit'e's pass. If you want to know it, just look in the FL server forum. Its not hard to find at all. Just remember the password is case sensitive.
