Possible to move servers?

Hi again,

a friend is hosting a FL server at the moment, but incase he needs to take it down, are there any files, reg settings etc I could copy out and onto a new server to continue without any loss?

Haven't seen anything about this yet....

Yes, you can transfer all the user accounts from his server to yours, but know that it won't be a portal type of deal or "banked accounts" if you will. You will only have the accounts current as of the time you made the transfer. Therefore, you cannot have them on two different servers and have them updated at the same time (unless both were using a shared location to save the accounts in.)

That being said:

The accounts for FL are stored in MY DOCUMENTS -> MY GAMES -> ACCTS ....
Just copy the entire MULTIPLAYER folder out and place it in the same location on your server and presto-change-o you have all the accounts from the "downed" server.
