admin wanted/ dead or alive

i´m from germany and unfortunately i started mp on "Jack´s Playland 24/7" somewere in US. that might be the reason why i´ve gor that red connection symbol (upper left middle of sreen) on most times (ping-problem?).

the funny thing is, how the problem is changing the gameplay.
i´m lvl 24 in omega 41 (was 26 before that !?!?! started) and i´m equipped with enough firepower to kill red hessians, something important if one wants to fly for the corsairs. but just a few seconds before i toast the first, he starts "beaming" around me. that makes dogfighting a bit confusing but there´s something even worse: after a time all enemies start to run away!

after restarting sometimes, the problem didn´t change, so if noone has an answer i would like to transfer my char.

but i need to know, who my admin is, for to do that.

so my question is:

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ADMIN OF "JACK`S PLAYLAND 24/7" ?

P.S.: NO, i´m not that stupid to play up to lvl 24 with such problems! at first everything was fine.

Unless he posted his email addy in the server news, you're kind of SOL.

Good luck, but your best bet is to start a new character on a server in Europe.

Unless you're sitting right on the Atlantic coast (not happening in Germany), you are not going to get a very good connection into the U.S..

Ok, thank you. Maybe the world isn´t that small as i thought it to be.

I found out, that my admin names himself "Jack_Knife". Don´t know, if that´s his real name, but if so it would be fantastic, if someone could give me his e-mail-adress so that i can try to safe my char.

Nah, it's just that the U.S. is the buisiest place in the world internet wise, and has been short it's largest east coast hub for nearly a year and a half.

nyc.wtc2.cisco.net Note the first 2 identifiers in the addy and you'll know why we have no major router servicing the New England area. Cisco has yet to replace that hub.

come to server "### Hall of Fame ###" - its a fast server in germany and if u meet me I'll give u some credits for a new start.

hey! thank you! thats a very nice proposal.
i think i´ll check out the server you mentioned. the only thing i worry about is that´s a german server. i won´t learn anything talking german to the people there.
on the other hand i could have one stable server in germany and one for to visit and meet some of our american friends in US.
yesterday i talked to another player how could be able to establish a contact with admin.
and the delay-problem seems to be very time dependent. today i had allways pings below 150ms and that should be enough, shouldn´t it?

by the way study period at german universities started again, so i won´t have that much time for some month either. and i heard DA is doing a great job with the server patch.

Did you also notice a yellow or red icon in the upper left part of your screen? That would indicate that your packet messages aren't being sent and recieved as quickly which can lead to things like that happening... happened to me many times...
