Away from elite ... the evil that men do
Ok , so with elite down I had to make my own entertainment.
So i went on the calgary 24/7
Man .. It was one of those bad places you hear about .. rampant hackers , cheaters and Pvp bullies.
I had found a *decent* l36 that took pity on me , and gave me some creds to get myself into decent shap ( i'm fed up of starting again , it just isnt fun) . I wanted something different , so I decided to play a freigher , i'd never done that before. I sent out a call to some l1 to escort me to texas for 15K , and we were already to go , then a l36 blasted me , kept blasting me , and wasted like 30mins of mine and the poor newbies time.
I tried threats , that i was really a high level 36er with n eagle , an that I was a hacker who could quite easily hack into systems of pvp bullies. No joy I was disbelieved, called a kiddie ( I wish to the roots of my thinning hair I was a kiddie!). Now yeah that was probably rag to the bull , and only gonna make em worse but I was already getting blow to crap,not having any fun, and maybe I thought it would give them pause for thought. I just wanted to play the game , make new friends and maybe help some newbies alone, so I tried to fake it , alas the arogance of the higher levels know no fear!
I was appalled at the abuse that myself and other players had to suffer , so much so i game my low level escort 16k anyhow because he had wasted so much time , like I said to him ' Its not your fault there are pvp bullys around'.
When will people grow up and stop messing with people ?
I think pvp can be fun , and is part of the game , but not BULLYING , a l36 character shouldnt go blowing up newbies and lower levels with their nomads and sabres in two shots, Instead of a no pvp rule what about a min level difference pvp rule?
Ah well. Guess I'll do my voting wih my feet and not go there again.
