Omega 41 to Omega 11 - Destination Dresdan

I think Im in trouble here and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. Im trying desperatly to get back to Dresdan to meet up with a few MP friends. Current location is Omega 41, a bit tougher than my curent lvl I suppose. Ran hard there to get a Eagle VHF and I got her. However, everytime I attempt to jump from 41 to omega 11, I get slaughtered on the Omega 11 side. Way to many badies for just one fighter. I've waited to see if I can tag or form up with a patrol crossing over, but I just get sniped to death and have to go for repairs. Has anyone got any advise for me?

when U just arrived from the jump hole, use overburn (default tab) and press Z (shuting down ur engien)(Z default) and turn arround and fire. when there out of site, use crouise. when U see enamy agen press Z. then they cant use wasp on u.
