New challenges for bored vets

After creating two level 38 charactes in two different servers, each with millions on their bank account, I get bored. Bored enough to switch between Eagle-Sabre-Corsair like changing clothes everyday. Been there, done this, done that, a million times.

Now my gig is to start new characters, then try to get rarely used ships early. Sabres and Titans are dime a dozen, but it still does catch people's attention if you are flying a Bloodhound, a Mule, or Wolfhound. Daggers are neat too, as an early plane, and so are Legionaires. As you go up the scale, my ambition is to get a Stilleto and then a Centurion. Once in a while, maybe a Dromedary. People see this ship that looks like a Titan, but it ain't a Titan and see how low your level is. Kind of a reverse snobbery (using a Toyota Prius in front of a Mercedes/BMW crowd.

Same here.
Every character I make, I try to switch it up a little so that his developpement wont be just like the last guy. Its good to think your path through cuz often you get to higher level ships fast before you even get a chance to try some of the more exotic weaker ships... eg. the Kusari IMHO.

Yeah..I started doing the same, if I'm in a Bloodhound I join up into formation with the nearest Rouge raiding party or help escort a Mule e.t.c Shame the AI has only been half implemented as they disapear when you jump to to another system

The Kusari Drake is a very handy 4/6 fighter, possibly one of the best due to its small size. No useable cargo hold but very hard to hit and very agile.

I started using a self-imposed "handicap" by limiting myself to a Barracuda. Even fully tricked out with the best of everything, the border worlds are quite a challenge.

Barracudas are GREAT though. By far my favorite heavy fighter, period.

Teh Talman is mah HERO.

if u want a challange go toe to toe vs a 2xxk mission up ina Drake, its kinda hard killing 6 sabres at the same time 4 times over in a drake :p but it CAN be done

Devil - Mad Sick & Twisted in the best looking ship

lol its like having a tough pickup truck that can withstand rocks being shot at it with a cannon then buying a diablo that will dent by a touch of a pebble.
