What happens when u kill other dudez?

Hey all

Having not played MP on the net cuz my 56K line sux and cuz I am in the process of getting a MP server ready for LAN sessions, I was wondering what happens when u kill another dude in MP.

- the dude u kill - do they drop their weapons and cargo?
- the dude that was killed - do u lose all ya weapons (I figure the cargo would go)?

drop all cargo + unmounted guns

You drop everything w\o mounted stuff, last time i lost a lvl 10 shield, 3 nomad weapons and few other lvl 10 weapons.

No big deal, 30 min and all is replaced.

I'm not sure what happens if you lose a wing and land on a planet for repaire, might lose that weapon. make sure you die if you lose and wings.

if you loose the wing you'll loose the gun if you repair....so don't repair kill yourself and its all good you get ur gun back

Just a note, when people say "drop," they don't mean it pops out into space. The stuff vanishes. Cargo, unmounted weapons, and unmounted equipment, all dissapear when you're killed. Ammo doesn't, though.
