Fusion:
I only know of two ways to give people money. You can mod the server to start them out with more credits, or you can give them your credits through the in-game trading interface. I've spent well over 100 hours building up credits on my server for the specific purpose of helping new players. I could mod the server, but that wouldn't be fair considering how long the server has been running. I'm more comfortable running a "pure" server for now anyhow.

AFAIK, the only way to take credits away is to take them all by deleting a character or account. I kinda doubt that's what you have in mind though.

Warping players around is very doubtful.

I believe it is possible to mod the server so players start out with better ships. For existing accounts, the only option is to escort them to a location to buy a better ship. Once there, give them the credits to buy it (IOW, give them some of your credits). They will still have to make the purchase though.

Battleship=mod as well

For the mods, I'd suggest spending as much time as you can in the Freelancer Editing forum here. I've read alot, and absorbed a little. Good luck in your search

one of my friends is stuck in Omega and cannot leave where he is or he dies right away, from what im told there is absoloutly no penalties from death so this ident really a bad thing, but its very annoying and repetative, hes trying to get in to buy a new ship, and i cant help him cuz im in the same ship as him :X.. also could u explain how the battleship mod works? ive used it with mod mananager but my charater is pretty far in, so im not sure 1. what it does or 2. how to get a batllehsip thanks

Sorry, I only read bits and pieces of all the modding information. I'm not even close to knowing enough to start offering detailed advice. All I can do is point you to the editing forum and let you take it from there.

I might be able to offer some advice on your friend's problem though. Is your friend able to survive in space long enough for a quick player-player trade? If he can, you could always build up some credits, get a better ship, then deliver some financial assistance and/or weapon upgrades directly to him. If he's backed himself into a super-tight corner, the situation will have to dictate the best solution. If all else fails, he could always start a new character
