Eagle or Sabre?***forbidden spoiler content***

I was experimenting with both ships. A sabre is nice to have 4 nomad blasters with 2 wrm type 2 guns a rapier turret to help take out shields. This has proved to be quite devastating but a little hard to aim with and when fighting a eagle you have to back off ur accelerater to pracitacally zero to trun fast enouph then thrust to evade.

Now a eagle is just plain faster.It is just so manuverable and 4 nomads with 2 del cids is quite nice for leveling sheilds and doing good hull dmg.

Now i am a person who also like the looks of a ship.And i think a sabre is a bit better looking

So what are ur guys ideas from past experinces? Which of the 2 powers is better,sabre or eagle.

I have flewn in both and i have choosen for the Sabre,
because of it's excellent balance of armor/firepower/manuverability.
It also depends on what kind of "player" you are (defensive, aggresive etc.)
I think the Sabre is the best "Overall" ship, and the Eagle the most "manuverable"

and btw I think all those idiots that never fought anyway other players should just shut up, against ai your with a falcon or hammerhead just fine.

I haven't tried the Eagle yet, actually, and am planning to to see what all the hype's about ... but for me personally, the Sabre definitely wins in the looks department

Eagle, when you're up against a Sabre or Titan chicken runs are out of the question. But get behind that Sabre or Titan and it's all over, that or the Sabre takes the jump hole (*Wink*Tasiin*knudge*)

EDIT: I'm talking PvP experience here. Against AI maneuverability isn't an issue because the AI is so dumb.

i find the sabre just as slow as a titan...the only thing good about sabre is the turret can fire forward

Eagle's the ship of choice for me...I always follow up my falcon purchase by making my way to Theta for that eagle.

Sure it doesn't have the forward firing turret, but who needs it when you can run circles around any enemy?

I prefer the eagle for much the same reasons as were mentioned above. You can see a pic of it in my sig; it is low resolution, and part of it is hard to see 'cause of that annoying "hosted by freepichosting.com" sign, but it should give you an idea...

id have to say eagle by alot , sabre looks cooler and has more armor , but the forwards firing turret hurts more than it helps in my opinion (unless there is a 600 speed turret ive never seen) , and eagle is much more maneuverable .

Eagle looks cooler IMHO, the Sabre would look cooler if it didn't have the frame thingy going on the underside.. reminds me of a bad spoiler kit=/
