Alright... here's the mess of it... I can connect to the multiplayer server when i use Dial up, but as i host my own web page, and run a full fledged lan, as well as my own business i can't be on the phonelines all the time.. so i decided i would try to play Freelancer online using my DSL connected PC.. now this is a stand alone PC with ADSL through SBC Ameritech (they were about as helpfull as amputating the wrong limb) using a Netgear 10/100 nic, on a 1.3ghz little pos with a nvidia mx 100/200.... IT WON"T CONNECT!!! it just sits there and says "Connecting to global server..." that's it... i even left it on for 24 hours thinging maybe the global server was slow... no dice... this is my 2nd week of this problem... i have all the current MS XP patches, and have followed all thier advice for the game with no results... anyone else with this problem and have managed to solv it... please let me kno how the hell it's done..
