Running Windows 2003? and server not working.

I use to use xp now I got 2003 and just does not work. it's listed but people time out connecting to it

Had the same problem with 2k ad Server, I think you'll find that due to security and so on regarding the server itself the ports are blocked, and I can't unblock them. I did get it running LAN wise with RAS server setup which took a while, but simply couldn't replicate to the net for my friends, even though it was set up on my firewall exactly like the xp pc I use.

so now I run it on one pc, play on another, have a few more free in case of lan party, and have friends joining via net. Works for me, another reason to like XP!
