MP fighters....

MP fighters....

Does anybody else have this problem? I host as a server, I go into the MP game to play, and everything works fine. The problem starts when I enter a dog fight.... the enemy fighters move way too fast! MUCH faster than in the regular game! Its like they are skipping or something... Is there anyway I can fix this??

Welcome to the world of lag, and no, you can't do anything about it except:

1) play on low (100ms or less) latency servers
2) invest in a faster internet connection

The ships that are "skipping" are not other players, they are ships controlled by the computer. Also... I have cable internet connection....

All ships skip, it does not matter which level they are. I watch the police ships and they also do the same thing. In the SP game the ships are fine, but in MP they skip....

Its lag, and its called 'warping.' One second they are there, next they are half way across the screen. Was a common problem in Mechwarrior 3.

It's lag, doesn't matter if it's PC or NPC ships. The communication between your computer and the server is still "lagged."

Some of us are no stranger to it. Anyone remember Descent on Kali?
