Is there really no way to play SP character on MP, even a LA

I've got this LAN Freelancer MP server going up in my neigbourhood an anybody would love to be able to play their SP character on the server, cause they've spent so much time leveling up in SP as a preparation for us to play MP.
Anybody is like having either Eagle, Sabre, or Titan /w Level 9/10 weapons on board, and would love to "test" our skill together, just to find out that we must start over with that puny Starflier. Can anyone please help?

I don't think they're is, though I, too, would like that option. It sure would be nice to have in a patch, *wink wink nudge nudge*.

It's actually very easy, but can only be done on servers you host, or know the person who hosts it.

I believe the actual answer is something for the spoiler forum tho

so I'll not say it here

Bram, I host the server myself. It's only on LAN and it's for all my collegues to play together and "test" our skill. Everybody was very dissapointed to find out that perhaps we must spend another two weeks to level up to the fullest in MP, so that we can "truly test" our skill. Two weeks? More like two hours. But if you must know... take a peek in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts

Yes Nephilim, around two weeks, because we had other works to do. I know that I can just give so much money to all the players (through the console), so that they're on Level 38 and they can afford those VHF and class 9 guns and all, but it still doesn't save them from going here and there to "collect" what they've achieved in the SP, not to mention to build up reputation with certain Faction in order to be able to purchase a specific item, i.e. : Titan from Corsairs and Class-10 Adv. Brigandine from the Outcasts, does it?
