Possible to export server data?

Does anyone know if it is possible to export the user accounts from the server? My system just went through some nasty stuff and, while I have the game server back up and running, nothing will clean it up like some formatting and re-installing. Rather than leave all the people on my server in a fit of rage (and incase they find out where I live), I'd really love to transfer the info to a temp location and then pass it back after I wipe away all evidence of my problems.
It was wishful thinking to try, but copying the game server directory did not transfer account information.
Thanks in advance for any ideas

Try copying the folders that reside here:

\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\MultiPlayer
I assume that the My documents folder would belong to whichever user installed Freelancer. On my machine the My Docs folder redirected for all users, so I'm not really sure. I know that the server stores the character folders there, I just don't know if there is anything else that needs to be copied as well. Hope that helps.

Sorry for posting twice, but here is the info from the extras folder on the cd concerning this:

Backing up Your Accounts
The accounts for your server are stored in the My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder of your documents folder. If you are running Windows 2000/XP, this means that different users on the same computer can run their own servers with different sets of accounts.

You can back up the accounts for your server by backing up the entire My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder in your documents folder. You must back up the entire directory.

Moving Your Accounts
You can move the entire set of accounts from one server to another by replacing the My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder on the destination server with the contents of the same folder from the source server. Copying of individual accounts to another server is not supported.

To move your accounts from server A to server B:

Delete the My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder in your "My Documents" folder on server B.
Copy the My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder (and all it sub-folders) from your "My Documents" folder on server A to the My Games\Freelancer\Accts\Multiplayer folder in your "My Documents" folder on server B.
Once you have moved these accounts from A to B, do not attempt to run servers on both machines at the same time.
