What the hell is going on with the global server???

I have only had this game for a week now and every single evening at around 10pm and sometimes in the daytime as well, when I select multiplayer and try to log into the global server, it wont connect.

This is really starting to piss me off. Isn't there a way to play multiplayer without having to go through the global server?

Does anyone have any ideas of who I can complain to about the global server itself. As far as I am concerned right now this is starting to borderline fraud on behalf of Microsoft. They said the game could be played in multiplayer mode and yet more than 50% of the time I cant get a connection to the global server.

Anyone with any advice or workarounds to cut the global server out of the loop, please let me know. Thank you.

Zoner.

have the same prob.

Was working last night, and now...??

Reinstalled and still no change.

I'm using Shaw cable (Canada, maybe they have something against Microsoft... LOL

I can make a server and join it, even make a lan server and able to join that too on a seperate comp. But still no global server.

Haven't had 1 issue with the Global Sever yet.

Try getting the All Seeing Eye, might help you find servers without having to look at the Global Sever. Worth a shot.

Thanks, that did the trick.

although still FL alone still cant find the Global server, it depends on ASE to connect.

Something changed in FL for some reason... very strange.

I still think it's buggy in Direct Play/DX 9 area.

Plus, ASE is superior anyways.. Favorites list, buddy list, nice display, dont have to launch the game to see if your fav server is full.. etc..
