LAN mp

Can I start a LAN mp game one only one computer that has an Enthernet card but isn't conected to other computer?HOW?Thank you for the answers.

if they arent connected they can't talk to each other and can't play multi. connect to to together then run a multiserver and play otherwise play online.

Go buy an el-cheapo ethernet card for the one machine and get yourself an equally cheap hub. Plug 'em both in and go.

-or-

get a crossover cable to connect between the two and run 192.168.x.x addresses on 'em..
