Finding level 10 stuff

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get my hands on any lvl 10 shields, or weapons. I haven't found anything above level 7 for shields available for sale.. help. I would like a bigger pillow between myself and all my enemies that i've made so many of in my MP game

Level 10 shields - Freeport 9 in Omicron Theta
Level 10 Weapons can usually be found in those secret red X's on your nav map. Lots by the unknown jump holes, a couple in teh omega system as well.

Yeah.. visit'd some red X's in the omicron and sigma sector to get blown outta the water by at least 10 Outcast Titans.. is there shields that are effective for protecting you against their weapons? I have gravitron ones right now and they don't seem to do the trick.. should I switch to molecular to survive longer?
