Connect to a Server

Sorry, this is going to be a very stupid Question: I tried to connect to a Server via the fldirectip file but it didnt work. I enter the IP address and Port, click the "Launch FL" button but once inside the game I don't find the Server which I added. Where can I find it or what am I doing wrong ?

Click the Add Server button first, then hit Launch. Once inside the game, hit Multiplayer then LAN.
