o' and I forgot, even though I select LAN, there is a message up there that I'm "Disconnected from global server" and "Internet games unavailable"
I don't want to play Internet games

You have to run the FLServer program which is also located in your start menu.

Just start the Server, give it a name and maybe a password and click OK.

Then start Freelancer. The server should be visible in Multiplayer-->LAN.

Well it isn't. don't know why, but the list is still clear

What type of network are you running?
Are you using the TCP/IP protocol?
Have you given chance for the server to complete its loading, and some time for the lan game menu to realise there is a server to connect to?

These are just some possible ideas, seeing as I don't have a lot of information on what you are running.

Well I already got it it was because of a firewall. I never turn it off and here it is... problem is on the world. now it makes me to ask another question: Is there any possibility to play it with firewall ON?
