Factions in MP

I was playin on a LAN with my friends earlier and one of them had a blinking faction, the Liberty Navy. Next to his name, "Navy" appeared. I didn't have any blinking faction or anything next to my name. How do you get the faction next to your name? Curious.

You can't. Its just a buggy system that doesn't work right. My friend had the "Samura" tag when we were playing at one stage and neither was it the highest in his Friendly list nor blinking.

Wait for a patch and hopefully they'll put in factions.
