Files That can be changed serverside.

I was wondering if someone can post a tutorial on what files can be changed server side, and a list of server side only changes that can be made. I ask this, as I see no tutorial covering this aspect in its entirety. It would be a great help to me as well as the community, and server op's.

Files that get changed and files that get added need to be both server and client side.

In other words when you add ships, weapons, bases, etc. both server and client need those files.

Files that both have in the original files already don't need to be client side.

It's a good idea to have all the files synchronized anyway...

Also you should start your Mod project with the Freelancer SDK version 1.3b-sdk_20070313 files. Mod those files or add your modified files to the SDK files and leave them in the Mod even if you don't modify all the files that are included in the Freelancer SDK ini files.

I know that most loadouts (solars, npcs, wrecks, etc) and all encounters can be changed server side without the client needing the updated files.

.... including the fuses of the ship loadouts.

Some days ago i dchange the fuses for the battleships,
to reduce their use.
Now they loose all their weapons + shields and don´t die
so repair takes some money and time.

Very interesting to change cargo for different factions
