Scaleable Ship
I was looking at the numerous mods that each have something awesome to offer. But why not have several command centers and hundreds of ship components to build onto, trade off, upgrade and expand.
A control cabin mod with hundreds of options: multiple cargo holds; all levels of shields, weapons and defenses; tractor beams to pull in small ships for salvage; and hundreds of other options. All with only several command ship console modules.
A ship the size of a battleship could also haul cargo or build itself into an active clan station or defend itself when the baddies are about.
Size, shape, weapons, engines should be limited to what we want to do with a ship, not what we are told we can have. I'd build a ship that still could use the gates. I'd love to plow through an ice field and see a big hole where I passed through.
So many choices.....so many mods. We really need a supermod that has most of what you guys and gals have already made.
