AI

ive decided to try to mod the AI, i come up with a name then a bunch of numbers, what is it?

not right now i need to install fl first but it looks something like this

(some type of ship, large trans or something)

0.00,0.00, ect then suddenly .86 or something. it is just a large block of numbers and i have no clue what it means.

If you are talking about the DATA/AI/state_graph,
Than maker of Flak mythik drive mod, guess he is Flak88, knows.
As far as I remember it is connected with AI thrust usage.

If not, than what file?

Hope this(he) will help a bit.

In mythic drive mod there's readme file in AI folder, it's got some info.

FIRST COLUMNnot a clue. Put in 1's and they'll just.. stop) (Lancerlover says- regular moving i think, or overall movement)
TENTH COLUMNmust be something to call the form leader, as it's on all 'leader's but not 'escort's (turning values?))
ELEVENTHform func, take out the numbers and they have no clue how to form, put to 1 and they stay in form (turning values too?))
SECONDgun control - set to 1 and they'll sync?)
FOURTHcruise control - set to column 1 and they'll chase, confirmed - unused because of formation problems)
SIXTHafterburning? The closer to 1 it is the less they blindly afterburn - setting to 1 means they'll only do it once-and-a-while like before, but always chase after something afterburning / evade missiles with it - set to 0 and they just afterburn like nuts stupidly - keep above 0 so they'll chase stuff in afterburn at least)
FOURTEENTHstrafe control?) TWENTY FIRSTsetting to 1 makes NPCs not move)

Or, open common.dll with a hex editor, and do a search for 'update_current_behavior_afterburner' - this, and the following, reference the state_graph.db (I'm pretty sure at least, but then again when I think about it there's no evidence there =P), each seperated by a ' @IBehaviorManager@@QAEX_N@Z '
I have no clue as to the order of these, as the cruise one is fifth in common.dll's list yet I know for a fact that it's the fourth column here. Hmm.

Those are the values as flack had them. they are free with reference and possibly out of date. several columns are unknown. lets set them all to 1 and see what happens!
