thanks for removing the post oarsman- sorry to rain on your parade. you know... there are a lot of things in common.dll, the exes and other files that are not documented, or even known about, non-cheatable goodies like dispersion_angle for guns (scatter/innaccuracy) or drag_modifier for zones. and that's only the tip of the iceberg - i'm not giving away the secret to FL's built-in dynamic economy, yet
if you really want to look at the functions inside the game you've got to get IDA (interactive disassembler) pro or free. this is really the best way to track down lost archetype properties, neglected/unimplemented features(the keyset, and options expansions), and to just try and wrap your brain around such an enormously complicated program. FL may seem simple from outside, but diving into its code reveals a long hard slog of development that was not always very smooth :O
