levels from looting, sweet!

i finished the story, was level 18, I believe, and doing some intensive exploring of the universe.

in the Sigma 13, the GMG gas-mining sector, near Yahagi depot, I noticed the two old wrecked Imperial Rheinland fighters. So I looted them, and got two level-10 guns (JADE and DIAMONDBACK) from them.

Now.. I couldn't use anything higher than level 7 guns, but the really neat thing was that I think my level increased from 18 to 21, just from the looting increasing my net worth

now i understood why i had such a hard time during the last few missions especially when im low on cash...my NW went super high from those weapons that i looted on my through sigma 13 in one of the missions

Hmm try looking for more fighters there , i think i found 4 level 10 weapons around there.
Lots of old fighters there

Yep, after factioning a bit to purchase a titan. I traded my Eagle for the titan at lvl 36, then went exploring, 2 unknown system hole wreck salvaging expiditions later and bang 38. Don't remember the system name, but is the unknown jump hole in the outcast sector, but nice drops off those wrecks.

i have had the same thing but on mp... i shot the flint ship in the badlands in new york system and got like 3 levels just for looting the cardomine and nearest i can figure is that the reason for this is you have found something that becomes a conflict of interest and because of that your worth goes up... or maybe its kind of like an america's most wanted sort of thing because of the looting but your rep doesnt change at all. those are my guesses

The equip (As in, all of your inventory) and cargo you have adds to your Net Worth. So, by blowing up ships, if you salvade their guns, your net worth goes up. Your on-hand cash also accounts for your Net worth, as does your ship.

Yea, I went through 36,37,38 just by looting ships in the omicron systems.
